Here is a great article, (with photos!) on our very own Garry Kvistad. Garry recently helped celebrate Jan  Williams’ birthday in Buffalo, performing Ionization under Jan’s baton, and performing Steve Reich’s Clapping Music with Allen Otte who was in Blackearth Percussion with Garry a number of moons ago. Jan Williams is honoured as a long-time percussion teacher at SUNY Buffalo and co-director of Creative Associates with Lukas Foss.
