Tuesday, July 6 – Bill performs with NEXUS at The Beethoven Festival in Winona, MN
Week of July 11 through 17 – Eastman School of Music Summer Percussion Instutute with Michael Burritt; Bill will present a “Creative Music Making” workshop.
Monday July 12 – Bill performs with Michael Burritt in a Recital at the Eastman School of Music
Saturday, July 31 – Bill performs Steve Reich’s “Drumming” with NEXUS in Woodstock, NY
Saturday August 7 – Bill and Garry Kvistad perform a young people’s concert titled, “A Day in George Washington’s Camp’ at the Maverick Arts Center in Woodstock, NY
August 30 – Bill begins his third year as Associate Professor of Percussion at the Eastman School of Music
September 2 through 13 – Bill performs Takemitsu’s “From me flows what you call Time” with NEXUS and the Hyogo Symphony Orchestra in Hyogo, Japan
October 11 through 14 – Bill presents a residency at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke – workshops, masterclasses, gala concert.
Sunday, October 24 – Bill’s composition, “ROSEWOOD DREAMING,” will be performed by the Genesee Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Raffaele Ponti. The marimba soloist will be Ms. Melzie Case, a student in Batavia New, York.
Monday, November 1 – Bill performs with NEXUS on the University of Toronto’s Faculty Artists Series. The program includes arrangements for 2 pianos and percussion of “The Planets” and “The Rite of Spring”
Thursday, November 4 – Bill presents a fife and drum studio class titled, “A Day in George Washington’s Camp” for the percussion department at the Eastman School of Music.
Saturday, November 20 – Bill performs with NEXUS at the State University of New York at Ulster
December 5 through 19 – Bill returns to the Showa Academy of Music in Kawasaki, Japan as a visiting Artist-In-Residence, presenting workshops and masterclasses, teaching private lessons and performing on a gala concert featuring his compositions.
