Friday March 21
The night before our concert (Thursday 20) Jim Campbell, Mark Ford and John Wooten took us to dinner at a downtown steak “joint”. We had a wonderful evening together. The N.C.A.A. basketball tournament had begun and the streets were filled with riot police, swat teams and party animals. The Bands of America thing is a big deal. Lots of musicians – most young – and lots of excitement in the air. After the concert, the hospitality suite was open a long time!
Our concert was a hit – I think – and photo ops abounded. Look closely at these pictures. Have you ever seen a group of better looking guys?
